Senior Review
The Senior Review
is the process to review all work completed and provide a clear
framework of all outstanding academic requirements needed for
graduation. Students are strongly encouraged to complete a Senior Review
two (2) semesters prior to the expected graduation date. It is the
student’s responsibility to schedule a Senior Review with the Academic
Services Office.
Honors
College students
should meet the Honors College staff at least one (1) semester prior to
the expected graduation date to certify the fulfillment of the Honors

GRADUATION INFORMATION
The Rutgers,
School of Business-Camden (RSBC) awards degrees three times a year,
January, May, and October. Students, who complete their studies in the
summer, may file for an October dated diploma. Students, who complete
their studies in December, should file for a January dated diploma.
Students, who complete their studies in May, are eligible to file for a
May dated diploma.
The RSBC holds a single commencement ceremony in
May of each year. Students who have successfully satisfied all the
requirements for graduation in the previous October or December may
participate in the May commencement. Students, who have not successfully
fulfilled all the requirements for graduation, prior to the commencement
ceremony, will not be permitted to participate in commencement.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
1) Students must successfully earn at least 120 credits.
2) Students must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.000.
3) Student must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.000
in the Business Core.
4) Students must have fulfilled all the pre-major and general
requirements of the School of Business-Camden (RSBC), and the specific
requirements of the major program of study.
5) Students must complete 30 of their final 42 credits at Rutgers
Camden, including at least 12 credits in the major.
6) Students must have successfully discharged all academic, disciplinary
and financial obligations to the University.
COMMENCEMENT
The RSBC holds a single

not wish to attend the ceremonies, please indicate so on the Diploma
Application—diplomas
will be mailed.

Graduation Seminars will be held to discuss graduation certification,
commencement and related matters. Dates, times and locations will be
listed in the RSBC’s monthly E-Newsletter each semester.

GRADUATION
REGALIA
The University District Bookstore will sponsor a Graduation Fair will
be held March 26-30th. Please contact the Bookstore for
prices.
MINOR CERTIFICATION
RSBC students with an Arts
and Sciences minor (i.e. economics, psychology, etc.) are required to
submit an approved and signed Minor Certification form from the
appropriate department chairperson to the Academic Services Office, by
established deadlines, can submit a Degree Navigator minor program
report (minor only) . All minors must be declared and posted to
student’s transcript prior to applying for a diploma.
GRADUATION CERTIFICATION
Graduation certifications
are performed for students who have submitted a completed Diploma
Application, by the above listed deadlines. RSBC students who will
complete a major and a minor in an RSBC discipline need to submit the
online form only. RSBC students with an Arts and Sciences minor (i.e.
economics, psychology, etc.) are required to submit an approved and
signed Minor Certification form from the appropriate department
chairperson to the Academic Services Office, by established deadlines.
A
Preliminary List
of approved students is posted on the Academic Services
Senior/Graduation website, approximately one (1) month prior to
graduation.
Any student who does not appear to satisfy all graduation during the
certification process will be contacted immediately to resolve the
discrepancy. If the matter is not satisfactorily resolved, a certified
letter will be sent home advising the student that he/she is
ineligible for graduation.
Students who have not completed
ALL graduation requirements will not be permitted to participate in
the Commencement ceremony.
HONORS DESIGNATION
Honors designation is determined by the cumulative grade
point average (GPA) at the time of graduation. Students may be
eligible to graduate with honors, if they complete
at least 45 credits at Rutgers
University as a matriculated student and earn cumulative grade point
averages listed below.
These averages are precise; rounding up is not done. Honors
classifications are determined at the end of the student’s final
semester. Please see below.

HONORS & AWARDS CONVOCATION
Outstanding students will be recognized for departmental and
college-wide honors as well as certain scholarships. Students being
honored will be notified in April.
HONOR SOCIETIES
Selection of qualified students for all honors societies is made based
on their academic standing in February of the relevant academic year.
