MBA Waiver Policy

For most students, waivers may be granted for up to four of the following required foundation courses. For JD/MBA students, waivers may be granted for up to three of the following courses.  Please note that we are not able to grant course waivers for on the job experience, work-related training courses, or certificate courses. Coursework must be taken at an accredited four-year college or university in the period covering last ten (10) calendar years. We are not able to grant waivers for courses taken at community colleges.

Required Courses:

1.  Managerial Economics: Two undergraduate economics courses taken at an accredited four-year college or university with a grade of B or better.

2.  Managerial Skills: Two undergraduate courses that include topics such as communications, negotiations, self-assessment leadership tools, career planning, team building, persuasion, networking, etc. taken at an accredited four-year college or university with a grade of B or better.  

3.  Quantitative Skills:  Two undergraduate statistics courses (or equivalent) taken at an accredited four-year college or university with a grade of B or better.

4.  Accounting for Financial Reporting:  This course will be waived for students with either (1) an undergraduate accounting degree or (2) a CPA certificate.
