The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. – Rutgers-Camden Student Chapter Presents:

“Breaking the Color Barrier: Exploring the Intersection of Authenticity, Mentorship, & Cultural Politics in the Workplace!”

Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 4:30pm-6:00pm in the Multipurpose Room

A recent study suggests that employees perform tasks more effectively, are more engaged, and less likely to quit when organizations encourage authenticity. For people of color, balancing workplace cultural integration with authenticity takes on an extra dimension.

The Breaking the Color Barrier panel discussion will explore the cultural complications minorities face in the workplace. Led by our moderator, panelists will discuss the challenges underrepresented individuals encounter in managing authenticity in the professional realm. Panelists will offer perspectives on their own workplace experiences, as well as insights on how to prosper as a professional and a genuine individual.
