GMAT Waiver Request

For students applying to Spring 2023 or later, GMAT or GRE scores are required for your graduate program application. If you would like to request a waiver, please see guidelines below and submit the form, as appropriate.

Note: GMAT/GRE scores are not required for the Professional MBA, MS in Finance-Wealth Management, or the Online MAcc programs.

Criteria for GMAT Waiver Request (Effective 9/16/2022)
    1. Undergraduate Students:
      • Currently enrolled in or hold an undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, or STEM-related major from a US accredited university or college with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, as well as a math or quantitative course with B or above.
    2. Graduate or Terminal Degree Holders:
      • With a master’s or a terminal degree (JD, MD, or PhD) from an accredited university or college in the US.
    3. Working Professionals (commensurate with work experience):
      • At least 3 years of professional full-time experience with an undergraduate degree from an accredited university or college in the US with cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
      • At least 10 years of professional full-time experience with an undergraduate degree from an accredited university or college in the US.
    4. International Students:
      • A cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or above plus a math or quantitative course with B or above from a nationally accredited college or university.
      • Official transcripts are required from each post-secondary school, demonstrating a four-year bachelor’s degree or its US equivalent from an accredited institution, as well as any further education you have received post-undergraduate. All transcripts MUST be translated to ENGLISH and show the title of the degree earned and the date the degree was conferred.

      • Rutgers School of Business–Camden (RSBC) reserves the right to request an applicant to have their transcript evaluated by a NACES accredited agency.

      • A GMAT/GRE score is required for International Students Scholarship consideration.
    5. US Military or Veterans:
      • Undergraduate degree from US accredited university or college with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    6. RSBC Certificate Programs:
      • Completed a certificate (12 credits) at Rutgers School of Business–Camden with a GPA of 3.0 or better.

    SPECIAL NOTES

    • If you do not meet the above criteria, you may still request a Test Waiver. Upload a brief document with the reason for the request. Waivers are highly selective and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
    • A GMAT of 450 or better is required for applicants who do not meet the waiver criteria. Scoring 450 or better GMAT score does not guarantee admission to RSBC Graduate Programs.
    • Rutgers School of Business–Camden will accept a GRE score in lieu of GMAT and calculate the percentile rank for 450 GMAT score and use the same percentile rank for GRE.
    • Approval of a waiver is not a guarantee of a formal acceptance into the program in question.
    • Applicants of RSBC Graduate Programs can defer their application for up to 1 year.
    • If a student was admitted to one of our graduate programs and defers their admission within the one-year timeframe, the student’s GMAT waiver will move with the application.
Waiver Request Form
  • GMAT waivers are granted specifically for the selected Rutgers School of Business–Camden graduate program based on relevant progressive work experience and academic preparation for the program. A waiver is not a guarantee of a formal acceptance into the program in question. If you are uncertain of your qualifications, we encourage moving forward with your GMAT Waiver Request.

Signatures

If I am chosen and matched with an executive, I will follow through and prepare a one-page report giving honest feedback about the experience. The written summary is due by the start of the next semester. By typing my name in the box to the right I am offering my digital signature in lieu of my handwritten signature.

After the shadowing event, I will write a personal thank you letter to the executive and copy Dr. Kaufman-Scarborough and Ms. Bridget Britton for their records. By typing my name in the box to the right I am offering my digital signature in lieu of my handwritten signature.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

After notified of a match, students are responsible for providing personal information to the matched executive (e.g., current resume and cover letter with information on career ambitions). The information on this application is for internal use only, for us to match you as well as possible with and executive from among our alumni database.

BLDP Application

The Spring 2023 Application is now open!

Priority will be given to applications received by November 18. Applications are accepted until all seats are filled. Space is limited, so apply early!

The seminar application process is our gateway for entry into the program. Upon acceptance into BLDP, students will be emailed their acceptance letter plus a special permission number allowing registration for the BLDP seminar.

Requirements

Seminar applications are solicited each semester and require the following:

  1. Completed application form (at the bottom of this page),
  2. For students with GPA 3.0 – 3.49, two (2) letters of recommendation (one academic; one other)

Rutgers-Camden students are invited to apply to apply for enrollment in the BLDP seminar. All applicants are expected to meet both of the following selection criteria:  (1) have sophomore standing or above and (2) have an overall GPA of 3.0 or above. First-semester transfer students will be evaluated based on their GPA earned at Rutgers. Students who fail to meet these admission criteria may still be allowed to apply for (and possibly enroll in) the BLDP seminar, but they will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

The director balances evaluations to make final decisions on people accepted for the seminar (up to a maximum of 15-20 each semester).

Students who are admitted to the BDLP are required to adopt the BLDP Code of Conduct. A signed contract is required from each student.

Students may count activities toward “leadership units” that were initiated prior to taking a seminar, as long as those activities occured primarily during their enrollment in their academic program.

Application for Admission to BLDP Seminar

Applications for the BLDP Seminar will be ongoing until class is filled.
