The Rutgers School of Business-Camden Internship Program is designed to supplement the academic program by offering qualified students a “real world” employment opportunity to gain professional experience prior to graduation. To ensure high quality interns, Rutgers School of Business-Camden students must maintain at least a 2.75 GPA to participate. The program features online internship and co-op courses for academic credit during the fall, spring, and summer terms (winter session is not an option). The program offers two (2) tracks:

Internship Track (3 credits):
  • Students work part-time during the fall or spring; part-time or full-time during the summer
  • Students must complete at least 120 hours (10-12 hours/week) in their internship position during the semester of course enrollment
  • Internship duration is a minimum of 12 weeks during fall or spring; (8 weeks during the summer)
  • Internships can be paid or unpaid opportunities

Accounting Cooperative Track – for Accounting Majors ONLY (6 credits):
  • Students work full-time for an 8-week period (minimum)
  • Students must complete at least 320 hours of work (40 hours per week)
  • Accounting Cooperative opportunities must be with one of the Big Four Accounting firms (Deloitte, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, KPMG, Ernst & Young), OR a 2nd-tier/Regional Accounting firm
  • Accounting Cooperative opportunities are typically for pay
  • Students may take a maximum of 6 additional credits to complete their course load
