Rutgers School of Business–Camden’s Off-Campus Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (BBA) program at Rowan College of South Jersey-Gloucester presents associate degree recipients with the opportunity to structure a winning game plan while expanding their educational experience at their local community college. The Off-Campus BBA is the solution for those who have earned their associate degree and wish to earn a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from an AACSB accredited institution. This program provides participants with a broad education in business administration with the added flexibility of selecting electives.

The Rutgers Off-Campus BBA program delivers a cutting-edge curriculum taught by exceptional faculty. The program’s defined schedule provides convenience to participants who will be able to complete their degree while attending classes at local community college campuses.

Students in this program will also have the advantage of accessing real-world knowledge from educators with genuine experience. Our faculty are top researchers in their fields of work, and many have received national and international recognition for their teaching and influential research. Potential Career Paths

Business Administration positions can involve the management or administration of people, projects, operations, or logistics. Individuals can train or specialize in a functional area, such as accounting, marketing, finance, or human resources. Business Administration graduates perform a broad range of duties in virtually every sector of the economy, including Banking, Finance, Healthcare, Advertising, Education, Manufacturing, and Business Services.

Admissions Requirements

To gain admission to the Rutgers Off-Campus Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration program at Rowan College of South Jersey-Gloucester, you will need: An A.A. or A.S. degree from a regionally accredited community college with a minimum GPA of 2.50.

Transferring Credits

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey will transfer a maximum of 60 credits (one half of the baccalaureate degree) from a NJ county college to a Rutgers degree program for those students who have completed an A.A or A.S degree.

Please visit the NJ Transfer website at http://www.njtransfer.org to look up the Recommended Transfer Program (RTP) for any undergraduate major at Rutgers. Students may be awarded up to 90 credits from a 4-year institution.

BLDP Application

The Spring 2023 Application is now open! 

Priority will be given to applications received by November 18. Applications are accepted until all seats are filled. Space is limited, so apply early!

The seminar application process is our gateway for entry into the program. Upon acceptance into BLDP, students will be emailed their acceptance letter plus a special permission number allowing registration for the BLDP seminar.

Requirements

Seminar applications are solicited each semester and require the following:

  1. Completed application form (at the bottom of this page),
  2. For students with GPA 3.0 – 3.49, two (2) letters of recommendation (one academic; one other)

Rutgers-Camden students are invited to apply to apply for enrollment in the BLDP seminar. All applicants are expected to meet both of the following selection criteria:  (1) have sophomore standing or above and (2) have an overall GPA of 3.0 or above. First-semester transfer students will be evaluated based on their GPA earned at Rutgers. Students who fail to meet these admission criteria may still be allowed to apply for (and possibly enroll in) the BLDP seminar, but they will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

The director balances evaluations to make final decisions on people accepted for the seminar (up to a maximum of 15-20 each semester).

Students who are admitted to the BDLP are required to adopt the BLDP Code of Conduct. A signed contract is required from each student.

Students may count activities toward “leadership units” that were initiated prior to taking a seminar, as long as those activities occured primarily during their enrollment in their academic program.
