- Program and Grad Year: Professional MBA, 2018
- Company: Baltimore County
When Porsché LeVere (RSBC’18) decided to pursue her Professional MBA at Rutgers School of Business–Camden, she was looking for a program that aligned with her aspirations of a career change. Drawn by the PMBA program’s robust curriculum, supportive faculty, cohort model, and convenient location, Porsché found Rutgers to be the perfect fit. Her journey wasn’t without challenges—she navigated personal hardships, including her mother’s illness and a divorce, all while balancing her studies and career. With the unwavering support of her cohort, faculty, and her personal support circle, Porsché graduated on time and credits these experiences with shaping her work today in Human Resources, where she advocates for employee mental health and inclusive workplace policies.
Porsché highlights the transformative experiences she gained at RSBC, particularly during a cohort trip to Panama and Colombia, where she immersed herself in the rich cultures and formed lasting bonds with classmates. She advises current students to prioritize their commitments, stay organized, and invest in self-care. Reflecting on her career transformation from operations to Human Resources, Porsché emphasizes how RSBC prepared her for the workplace by providing extensive resources and guidance that supported her professional growth even before graduation. Today, she continues to channel the resilience and skills honed at Rutgers into making a meaningful impact in her field. Porsché just accepted a new position as Chief of Employee and Labor Relations for Baltimore County.
Congratulations, Porsché!
