Use the Undergraduate Admissions Application to apply as a first year student if you have never attended college as a matriculated (degree-seeking) student. A first year applicant may be a current high school student or an adult who has taken 12 or fewer college credits.

Undergraduate Transfer BS Applicants

Use the undergraduate admissions application to apply as a transfer student if you have already graduated from high school and will have earned at least 12 college credits before your expected start at Rutgers–Camden.

Online BBA Applicants

The Online Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (BBA) degree program recently reviewed the curriculum and chose to remove the 18-college credit minimum.

A high school transcript will be required if the applicant is applying with 24 credits or less. If the applicant is transferring in credits, a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 of transferrable credits from a regionally accredited college or university is required. International students will need to submit English proficiency if high school is in a country where English is not the principal language. Students will need to submit proof of English language proficiency, if their undergraduate education was completed in a non-English speaking country. Rutgers–Camden accepts the following documentation:

  • TOEFL: 550 PBT/ 79 IBT
  • IELTS: 6.5

Official Transcripts

Official transcripts are required from each post-secondary school attended. Undergraduate transcripts must be equivalent to a four-year U.S. bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, showing 120 credits. All transcripts MUST be translated to ENGLISH, as well as show:

  • Accreditation status of the institution
  • Title of the degree earned
  • Date the degree was conferred
  • Course-by-course evaluation (with transcripts)
  • Cumulative GPA
  • Credits hours earned

Please Note: If your transcript does not meet the above criteria, Rutgers School of Business–Camden (RSBC) REQUIRES a course-by-course evaluation, including the above information and transcripts, from a NACES accredited agency

The purpose of the credential evaluation report is to accurately convert each of your course grades and the cumulative GPA (CGPA) to the U.S. grade equivalencies and to validate the authenticity of the documents. This eliminates the need to obtain official, English translated documents/transcripts from your home institution(s) to the U.S. university, saving you time and money.

Rutgers School of Business–Camden accepts academic evaluation reports from any of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services® (NACES) members. However, we highly recommend students use one of the following services when applying for a graduate program at Rutgers University–Camden. These links are customized to be sure you select the right kind of evaluation at a discounted rate.

Please have the completed evaluation sent to e-transcripts@camden.rutgers.edu or by courier to:
Rutgers University
Attn: Graduate Admissions
406 Penn Street
Camden, NJ 08102

Please note that this process can take up to six weeks to complete.

Unofficial transcripts can be used for admissions review. Upon admittance to the program, you will need to supply official transcripts.

Rutgers School of Business–Camden (RSBC) reserves the right to request an applicant to have their transcript evaluated by a NACES accredited agency.

Signatures

If I am chosen and matched with an executive, I will follow through and prepare a one-page report giving honest feedback about the experience. The written summary is due by the start of the next semester. By typing my name in the box to the right I am offering my digital signature in lieu of my handwritten signature.

After the shadowing event, I will write a personal thank you letter to the executive and copy Dr. Kaufman-Scarborough and Ms. Bridget Britton for their records. By typing my name in the box to the right I am offering my digital signature in lieu of my handwritten signature.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

After notified of a match, students are responsible for providing personal information to the matched executive (e.g., current resume and cover letter with information on career ambitions). The information on this application is for internal use only, for us to match you as well as possible with and executive from among our alumni database.

BLDP Application

The Spring 2023 Application is now open!

Priority will be given to applications received by November 18. Applications are accepted until all seats are filled. Space is limited, so apply early!

The seminar application process is our gateway for entry into the program. Upon acceptance into BLDP, students will be emailed their acceptance letter plus a special permission number allowing registration for the BLDP seminar.

Requirements

Seminar applications are solicited each semester and require the following:

  1. Completed application form (at the bottom of this page),
  2. For students with GPA 3.0 – 3.49, two (2) letters of recommendation (one academic; one other)

Rutgers-Camden students are invited to apply to apply for enrollment in the BLDP seminar. All applicants are expected to meet both of the following selection criteria:  (1) have sophomore standing or above and (2) have an overall GPA of 3.0 or above. First-semester transfer students will be evaluated based on their GPA earned at Rutgers. Students who fail to meet these admission criteria may still be allowed to apply for (and possibly enroll in) the BLDP seminar, but they will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

The director balances evaluations to make final decisions on people accepted for the seminar (up to a maximum of 15-20 each semester).

Students who are admitted to the BDLP are required to adopt the BLDP Code of Conduct. A signed contract is required from each student.

Students may count activities toward “leadership units” that were initiated prior to taking a seminar, as long as those activities occured primarily during their enrollment in their academic program.

Application for Admission to BLDP Seminar

Applications for the BLDP Seminar will be ongoing until class is filled.
