Learning Abroad Programs
Brief study trips through Learning Abroad at Rutgers-Camden are an alternative to the traditional semester- or year-long study abroad-sponsored programs offered by many American universities, including Rutgers University. The emphasis in the Learning Abroad program is on integrating brief periods of travel with regularly-offered courses in our university curriculum. Each year, usually during the Spring term, the program sponsors between five and 10 courses, working with academic departments and individual faculty members to extend classroom work into a first-hand experience of cultural life in places such as:
- South Africa
- Portugal
- Paraguay
- Cuba
Rutgers-Camden Learning Abroad Programs offer 7-10 day opportunities. RSBC offers one of these short-term study abroad courses. The Rutgers University Study Abroad Programs offer semester- or year-long opportunities as well.
