On Campus Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA)
Information for International Applicants

Essential Skills for a Digital World.
This STEM-designated, 30-credit Master’s program will show you how to employ various software programs, such as R, Python, and SQL, to analyze business data. Coursework can be taken fully online or in-person on campus.
A 12-credit Business Analytics Certificate program is also available.
The Data on MSBA
- AACSB Accredited—Recognized for excellence by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business
- STEM-Designated—eligible international students have the option to apply for up to 36 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT) upon graduation
- Offered in-person at the Camden campus —just minutes outside of Center City Philadelphia
- Scholarships are available to non-sponsored F-1 or J-1 student visa holders. No application necessary; the GMAT scores of the applicants are evaluated at the time of admission review.
- Completion in as few as 12 months—30-credit degree program
- International Student Support Services are available.

- Three admission cycles per year—Fall, Spring, or Summer
The MSBA Program is comprised of ten courses, including four (4) required courses and six (6) electives. Through coursework, students acquire knowledge of statistics, machine learning techniques, and relevant software, such as:
- Excel
- R
- SAS
- SQL
- SPSS
- Python
Think of the MSBA as a degree for the future. Going forward, the edge in business belongs to those who can find managerial insights hidden in customer, firm, and marketplace data. The MSBA program puts you at the vanguard of this emerging field. It will teach you techniques for extracting, collecting, cleaning, describing, segmenting, modeling, predicting, and reporting data.

General Requirements
Here are the basic requirements for applying to our graduate programs:
- Required Test Scores: For students applying (or deferring your current application) to Spring 2023 or later, GMAT or GRE scores are required for your graduate program application. If you would like to request a waiver, please see guidelines and form at: RSBC GMAT Waiver Policy
- Four-year bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited university or institution. Transcripts must show the title of the degree earned and the date the degree was conferred.
- Letters of recommendation, resume, and a personal statement describing educational and professional goals.
- Students will need to submit proof of English language proficiency, if their undergraduate education was completed in a non-English speaking country.

Currently, RSBC offers scholarships for international applicants for the On-Campus MBA and the On-Campus MSBA. An official GMAT or GRE score must be submitted for any scholarship consideration. Steps to Apply
- Complete the Graduate Admissions Application.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of $70.00.
Applicants with international degrees are not required to have their educational credentials evaluated by a NACES evaluating agency. Applicants should submit original or certified (notarized) copies of all post-secondary transcripts, marksheets, examination results, diplomas, and degrees. If not issued in English, transcripts are to be validated by a NACES member.
Please note that the Rutgers School of Business–Camden (RSBC) reserves the right to request an applicant to have their transcript evaluated by a NACES accredited agency. RSBC will reach out to the applicant with this request. For a list of NACES agencies, go to: http://naces.org/members.htmIf applicants already have an advanced degree from the U.S., applicants will be required to submit an official copy of the advanced degree as well as the official transcripts of their bachelor’s degree.
Selected three-year bachelor’s degrees from India may be considered equivalent to a U. S. bachelor’s degree without an evaluation, if they have been earned in Division I/First Class and the awarding institution is currently accredited by India’s National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a letter grade of “A” or better.
