Dr. Oscar Holmes IV, Associate Professor of Management at the Rutgers School of Business–Camden, has been recognized with a 2024 NJ Bright Ideas Award for his impactful Harvard Business Review publication, “Why Dropping the ‘E’ in DEI Is a Mistake.”
Each year, the New Jersey Collegiate Business Administration Association (NJCBAA) honors 10 faculty members across the state whose scholarship and teaching represent significant contributions to business education. This year, NJCBAA received 154 submissions from 16 higher education institutions, underscoring the competitiveness and prestige of the award.
Dr. Holmes’ publication was also named one of Harvard Business Review’s top 16 articles of 2024, further affirming its national influence in shaping conversations around equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace. His research provides a compelling argument for why the “E”—equity—remains an essential pillar of meaningful DEI work and organizational progress.
RSBC is proud to celebrate Dr. Holmes’ continued leadership, scholarship, and impact.
Congratulations, Oscar!
