Rutgers School of Business–Camden
Peer Mentorship Program
The RSBC Peer Mentorship Program seeks to pair an experienced college student, who may be a sophomore, junior, or senior (mentor) with an incoming first-year student (mentee). The goal of this program is to ease the transition of new students to college life by way of introducing them to various resources, clubs, student organizations, and strategies for success. Mentors will facilitate this transition as they help mentees to develop their goals and solve challenges by sharing their own experiences and encouragement.
Mentorship is an amazing experience, which benefits both the mentor and mentee. Mentees will enjoy guidance to enable them to avoid pitfalls and lead them to academic success, while mentors will further develop their leadership, problem-solving, and management skills. Ultimately, each person will grow personally and find greater success in a competitive job market.
