Ralph Giraud is an Instructor of Teaching in Finance for the Rutgers School of Business–Camden, and he is an accomplished professional in the field of Finance with 35 years of experience in various roles. His roles have included 6 years as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, 15 years in Fixed Income Securities Trading, 6 years of institutional and retail investment securities sales, and 8 years as a Consultant to asset managers concerning the Financial Services sector. Mr. Giraud was a Bank Investment Portfolio Manager for commercial bank Provident Bank of Maryland (purchased in April 2009 by M & T Bank), and a mortgage – backed securities Portfolio Manager for investment asset manager Cumberland Advisors. He established the U.S. Government Agency Trading and Sales division of the Pershing, LLC Fixed Income Department. Ralph has an M.S. Finance degree from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a B.S.B.A. degree in Marketing from Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY. He is currently Program Chairman of the Philadelphia Council for Business Economics (PCBE), a chapter of the National Association for Business Economics (NABE), Program Chairman and Board Member of the Washington (D.C.) Association of Money Managers (WAMM), an Adjunct Member of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analysts) Society of Philadelphia while on its University Outreach and Events Committees, and a Volunteer Member of the Marketing Committee of nonprofit organization HelpHOPELive.
