We are proud to announce the recipients of this year’s Faculty Excellence Awards, which we given at the annual Rutgers School of Business–Camden Student, Faculty, and Staff Honors Ceremony on Friday, April 19. These distinguished educators and researchers embody the highest standards of teaching and scholarship, contributing significantly to our academic community.
Dr. Maureen (Mimi) Morrin, Henry Rutgers Professor of Marketing, has been honored with the Faculty Excellence Award for Teaching in the Full-Time Faculty category. Her innovate and engaging teaching methods, along with her expertise in marketing, have consistently enriched our students’ learning experiences.
Dr. David Pedersen, Associate Professor & Director of the MS in Finance–Wealth Management, received the Teaching Innovation Award for his groundbreaking approaches that challenge and inspire our students.
Professor Jerome Dropcho, Lecturer of Human Resources/Organizational Behavior, was recognized in the Part-Time Faculty category for his exceptional dedication and expertise that elevate our institution’s educational standards.
In research, Dr. Yuliya Strizhakova, Associate Professor of Marketing, was awarded the Faculty Excellence Award for Research for her influential work on consumer behavior and sustainability, notably her publication in the Journal of Marketing Research.
Dr. Shankar Sundaresan, Associate Professor of Professional Practice in Management, was also recognized for his significant contributions to the field, with his recent work on subscription pricing in Production and Operations Management.
Their research not only advances academic knowledge but also enriches our curriculum, ensuring that our students benefit from the latest insights and developments in their fields. We are immensely grateful for their contributions and proud to have such talented individuals as part of our faculty.
