At the same time, financial planning is emerging as an attractive career path for students and young professionals, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clientsā lives, flexible career options, and strong earning potential in one of the nationās top-ranked business professions.Ā
To help meet the demand for the next generation of financial planners,Ā Rutgers School of Business-Camden (RSBC) has built a comprehensive ecosystem of financial planning education. This ecosystem includes our CFP Board RegisteredĀ Online MS in FinanceāFinancial Planning Program,Ā a 4+1 Accelerated Bachelors/MS in FinanceāFinancial Planning Program, and theĀ Pathway to Financial PlanningĀ career development program. To broaden access across Rutgers University, RSBC alsoĀ establishedĀ the Rutgers Wealth Management, Advising, and Planning (MAP) Community, serving as a shared home for students interested in wealth management and financial planning.Ā Ā
Further,Ā underwritten by the recentlyĀ finalizedĀ multi-year partnership with Schwab Advisor Services and the Charles Schwab Foundation,Ā RSBC launched an UndergraduateĀ Concentration in Financial Planning. This concentrationĀ satisfiesĀ the requirements of the CFP Board to beĀ designatedĀ as a CFP Board RegisteredĀ Program,Ā making all graduates of the concentration eligible to sit for theĀ CFP ExamĀ®.Ā
To complete the Financial Planning Concentration, studentsĀ are required toĀ complete all five courses.āÆĀ
