Online BBA Applicants
A high school transcript will be required if the applicant is applying as a first-time in college student, or as a transfer who has completed 24 credits or less. If the applicant is transferring in credits, a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 transferrable credits from a regionally accredited college or university is required.

Applicants for On Campus Bachelor of Science (BS)
RSBC prepares you with the skills and knowledge to carve out your niche in the dynamic business landscape. The BS Programs are offered on-campus at the Camden Campus. Students have the option of 6 majors (Accounting, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management, or Marketing) and can specialize their degree with 17 diverse minors.
First Year Applicants
You are a first-year (or freshman) applicant if:
- You are currently enrolled in high school, even if you’ve completed college credits while in high school, or
- You’ve graduated from high school and have never attended college, or
- You’ve been enrolled in college but will have completed fewer than 12 academic post-high school graduation college credits by the time you enroll at Rutgers.
Note: Current high school students taking college courses during high school should apply as first-year applicants, regardless of the number of college credits earned while in high school. If you are graduating from high school after three years, earning a high school equivalency diploma, or are home-schooled, please review the required credentials for non-traditional applicants.
First-year students can now use the Common App to apply to Rutgers School of Business–Camden!
Transfer Applicants
Use the undergraduate admissions application to apply as a transfer student if you have already graduated from high school and will have earned at least 12 college credits before your expected start at Rutgers–Camden.
Applicants for Online Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (BBA)
If you’re ambitious, proactive, and looking for a flexible way to advance your career in business, the Rutgers Online Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (BBA) gives you the best of both worlds. The Online BBA program is designed for motivated individuals like you, who value career flexibility and foundational business knowledge. Our program offers the prestige of a Rutgers degree with the convenience of online learning, making it the perfect fit for your busy lifestyle.
Online BBA applicants are encouraged to have a B average from prior coursework.
NOTE: Students applying to the Online BBA can transfer up to 60 college credits into the program from a community college or up to 90 from a four-year accredited institution. Official transcripts from all past institutions are required before your first meeting with academic advising.
Note: Placement Exams are not required for the fully Online BBA program.
Applicants for Off-Campus Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (BBA)
Designed for students with an Associate’s degree in Business, the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (BBA) Off-Campus program offers a convenient path to a Rutgers degree. With classes held at your current or nearby community college, it’s an ideal option for those who prefer in-person learning but can’t commute to Camden or don’t want a fully online program. Earn a prestigious Rutgers degree – right in your community.
To be admitted to the Off-Campus BBA program, you will need the following:
- Associate of Arts or Associate of Sciences degree from one of the regionally accredited community college partners
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50
Steps to Apply to an Undergraduate Program at RSBC
- Complete the online undergraduate application available at admissions.rutgers.edu. **NOTE: Be sure to indicate the appropriate Undergraduate Business program and campus (Camden, Online, or one of the six partner community colleges).
- Submit the non-refundable application and enrollment fees.
- Submit all required documents, including transcripts, to the Rutgers University Undergraduate Admissions Office or by email to e-transcripts@camden.rutgers.edu.
- A high school transcript will be required if the applicant is applying as a first-time in college student or as a transfer who has completed 24 credits or less.
- Current High School Seniors Only: Complete your Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR).
- Official transcripts will be required for all prior college-level coursework. If the applicant is transferring in credits, a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 transferrable credits from a regionally accredited college or university is required.
- International students must submit English proficiency exam scores if the high school is in a country where English is not the principal language. Transcripts not in English must be accompanied by an acceptable translation.
