- Program and Grad Year: OMBA Class of 2025
- Company: Amazon
Rutgers School of Business–Camden alumnus Giacomo Greco earned his online MBA in Fall 2025 and currently serves as a Senior Program Manager at Amazon. A native of Haddon Heights, NJ, Giacomo is a husband and father of two who began his career in law enforcement. After five years in the field, he made the decision to pivot into the private sector.
In 2023, Giacomo welcomed his first child. Just nine months later, he was deployed to Syria in support of Operation Inherent Resolve with the NJ National Guard. During this time, his priorities shifted as he balanced family, military service, and his education. Despite these demands, he remained committed to his coursework. He continued his studies while deployed overseas in a combat zone, often completing one to two classes per semester.
Giacomo credits several faculty members, including Dr. Mark Brennan, Dr. Sungsoo Kim, Dr. Jun Guo, and Dr. Oscar Holmes, with helping him stay motivated during some of his most challenging moments. Even years after taking their classes, these professors remained a source of encouragement and demonstrated a genuine investment in his success that left a lasting impression.
During his time at Rutgers School of Business–Camden, Giacomo developed a strong foundation in cross-functional teamwork, a skill that continues to support his growth as a leader in his current role. Reflecting on his journey, he emphasizes the importance of discipline and facing challenges head on. For Giacomo, success has been built on consistency, resilience, and the ability to adapt, lessons that continue to shape both his professional and personal life.
