Rutgers School of Business-Camden
AACSB Accreditation
Rutgers School of Business–Camden (RSBC) was established in 1988 by the Rutgers University Board of Governors. Initial accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, known as AACSB International, was granted to RSBC in 1995, as the first business school in South Jersey to achieve such a designation. The school continues to maintain professional accreditation from AACSB.
AACSB International values and celebrates diversity among its membership. Accredited members share a common purpose—preparing learners for meaningful lives. AACSB International provides a platform for business schools to work together to foster engagement, accelerate innovation, and amplify impact in business education—and create a shared sense of responsibility to have a positive impact on society.
The fundamental purpose of AACSB accreditation is to encourage business schools to hold themselves accountable for improving business practice through a commitment to strategic management, learner success, thought leadership, and societal impact.
AACSB International’s mission is to foster engagement, accelerate innovation, and amplify impact in business education. This mission informs AACSB’s accreditation standards for business schools. AACSB International strives to continuously improve engagement among business, faculty, institutions, and learners, so that business education is aligned with business practice.
