Transferring Within Rutgers
School-to-School Transfer Application
Currently matriculated students at Rutgers University (Camden, Newark, or New Brunswick) may submit an online application through the Rutgers Admissions School-to-School Transfer Application . The School to School transfer application is NOT permitted for non-matriculated students at Rutgers University.

Transfer Requirements by Program
BS (On-Campus) Program
Program Description: The Bachelor of Science program offers majors in Accounting (010), Entrepreneurship & Innovation (343), Finance (390), Human Resource Management (533), Management (620), and Marketing (630).
Enrollment Eligibility:
- Applicants must have completed at least 24-degree credits at Rutgers University prior to the application submission.
- Minimum Cumulative GPA: Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.000. GPA’s from outside of Rutgers will not be taken into consideration for school-to-school transfer.
- Grades of NG, TF, TZ, or INC will be calculated into the cumulative GPA as “F” for the purposes of determining admission.
- Applicants transferring into RSBC with greater than 90 credits may be required to complete additional credits toward graduation, possibly resulting in additional time and/or tuition payments, to satisfactorily complete all graduation requirements.
- Disciplinary Status: Applicants must indicate on their application any disciplinary action, judicial sanction, or violations of the academic integrity policy. Failure to disclose such a condition may result in the revocation of an admission offer.
- Applicants who currently have a Rutgers-sanctioned financial hold must resolve any related financial obligations prior to transfer approval.
Coursework Requirements:
Rutgers University–Camden Students
Applicants must have completed both of the following major prerequisite courses with a minimum grade of at least “C” in each course:

Rutgers University–Newark Students
Applicants must have completed both of the following major prerequisite courses with a minimum grade of at least “C” in each course:
- 21:640:114 Precalculus OR 21:640:135 Calculus I OR 21:640:119 Basic Calculus
- 21:220:231 Statistical Methods
Rutgers University–New Brunswick Students
Applicants must have completed both of the following major prerequisite courses with a minimum grade of at least “C” in each course:
- 01:640:115 Precalculus College Mathematics OR 01:640:135 Calculus I OR 01:640:151 Calculus I Math/Physics
- 01:960:285 Introduction to Statistics for Business
Off-Campus BBA Program
Program Description: The Off-Campus BA in Business Administration (BBA) degree is only available at the RSBC off campus locations at Atlantic Cape Community College, Brookdale Community College, Camden County Community College, Mercer County Community College, Rowan College at Burlington County, and Rowan College of South Jersey-Gloucester.
- Applicants must use the 135 major code to indicate their interest in the BBA program in the application dialog box.
- Please note that there is a separate fully Online BBA 135 major, which does not require or permit enrollment in any in-person courses.
Enrollment Eligibility:
- Applicants must have an AA/AS degree completed or a minimum of 60 applicable degree credits.
- Applicants must have completed at least 12
- -degree credits at Rutgers University prior to the application submission.
- Minimum Cumulative GPA: Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Coursework:
- All applicants to the Off-Campus BBA program must have successfully completed a transferable English Composition I and English Composition II with a grade “C” or better.
Online BBA Program
Program Details:
- The Online BA in Business Administration (BBA) degree is a fully 100% Online BBA program; on-campus, in-person courses cannot be taken.
- Tuition for the 100% online program is calculated per credit hour. Tuition rate is subject to change.
- Unemployment waivers cannot be used. Other types of scholarships/grants and employment waivers may not be applicable to this program.
- Applicants must use the 135P major code to indicate their interest in the Online BBA program in the application dialog box.

- Applicants must have completed at least 12-degree credits at Rutgers University prior to the application submission.
- Minimum Cumulative GPA: Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Disciplinary Status: Applicants must indicate on their application any disciplinary action, judicial sanction, or violations of the academic integrity policy. Failure to disclose such a condition may result in the revocation of an admission offer.

Information Relevant to ALL Applicants:
- Application Deadline/Procedures and Notification Schedule
- Applicants are limited to one application submission per semester.
- Students applying for re-enrollment to RSBC must submit the online re-enrollment application by the August deadline set for the fall semester or by the January deadline for the spring semester.
- Applicants will receive notification of the re-enrollment decision via email on or before August 25 for the fall semester or January 15 for the spring semester.
- Applicants enrolled in required courses during the summer session must indicate so in their application statements. These applicants will be notified after the conclusion of the final Rutgers summer session or no later than August 25.
- Conditions
- All previously earned degree credits/grades will be reviewed in compliance with RSBC academic policies and some courses/credits may not transfer or may need to be repeated.
- Applicants must remain in good academic standing at their current college (if currently enrolled) and must satisfactorily complete the current semester.
- Post-baccalaureate students are required to complete a minimum of 30 credits as an RSBC student. Courses used toward the initial degree may not be applied to meet any major requirements (section “D” of the curriculum worksheet).
- Additional conditions may be noted in the re-enrollment decision notification message sent to applicants. Applicants are responsible for compliance with any specified conditions.
- School Enrollment: By submitting an application, the applicant declares one’s intention to enroll at Rutgers School of Business–Camden.
- The Academic Services Office will notify the University Registrar of your re-enrollment, if approval is granted, and your record will be updated accordingly.

- Academic Advising/Registration Information: Successful applicants will be notified, via email, of registration, advisement and/or orientation procedures. Further questions or concerns should be directed to the appropriate School Contact (below).
- Taking Business Courses with Special Permissions: Non-RSBC students at Rutgers–Camden may be eligible to register for select business (school 52) courses if there are no “open-to 52” restrictions listed in the web registration system sims.rutgers.edu/webreg/ and the student has met all necessary prerequisites. Special Permission is rarely granted for non-business students to enroll in restricted business courses.
- Disciplinary Status: Students must indicate on their application any disciplinary action, judicial sanction, or violations of the academic integrity policy. Failure to disclose such a condition may result in the revocation of the admission offer or a denial decision.
- Financial Aid: Applicants should contact One Stop Student Services Center, if they have any questions regarding financial aid.
- Graduation Requirements: Graduation requirements can be found at RSBC Academic Services.
- Residency Requirement: Applicants must complete 30 of their final 42 credits at Rutgers University–Camden, including at least 12 credits in the major, as matriculated RSBC students prior to graduation.
- Rutgers–Camden Housing: Applicants should contact the Housing and Residence Life Office at (856) 225-6471 to inquire about housing opportunities on the campus for the upcoming semester. Housing accommodation is assigned on a space-available basis.
- Transcript Review
- Applicants who attended institutions other than Rutgers University during their time away will be required to submit their official transcript and have an updated transfer evaluation completed through the Rutgers Camden Office of Admissions for each institution afterre-admission to the RSBC. Please submit official transcript(s) to admissions@camden.rutgers.edu and complete the Transfer Summary Report Student Request: Transfer Summary Report Student Update Request
- All previously earned degree credits/grades at institutions other than Rutgers will be reviewed in compliance with RSBC’s academic policies, and some credits may not transfer.
- Withdrawal of Application: Prior to a decision, an applicant may withdraw his/her application by visiting the status screen and inserting the letter “W” in the decision field.
- Withdrawal after Admission: If the re-admitted student is unable to enroll, he/she must notify the college immediately to properly update the student’s and school’s records to reflect the change in enrollment plans.
