Signature features of the Honors program
- The Business Honors program is offered in conjunction with RutgersโCamden Honors College. Honors College students who are business majors are automatically admitted into Business Honors.

ACADEMIC COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS
Business Honors students are strongly encouraged to take as many Business Honors sections of their core courses as possible. The minimal academic requirements to receive Business Honors are outlined below.

Students must meet Honors College coursework requirements.
- At least 6 Business Honors sections of core business courses.
- NOTE: Students will be pre-registered for Business Honors sections of core business courses to ensure completion of this requirement. However, they can waive participation in some Business Honors sections of core business courses due to conflicts, by completing the Course Enrollment Waiver Form.
- Cohort-based experiential learning
- Impactful assignments that promote critical and insightful thinking
- Guest speakers and corporate engagement
- Assignments to build your job interview portfolio
- At least 1 Honors College seminar elective must be Business focused, offered by the School of BusinessโCamden, and count as a business elective
- Small class sizes with excellent professors
- Experiential learning and corporate visits
- Global immersion and societal impact:
- A long- or short-term study abroad
- Business Honors section of International Business
- Business Honors project within the short-term study abroad
- Independent study or thesis focused on any aspect of global business applications

ENGAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS
Business Honors Engagement (per year)
Business Honors Students must complete at minimum half of their Honors College engagement requirements through the School of BusinessโCamden. We are using RCommunity (rutgers.givepulse.com), Canvas Business Honors site, and email communications to promote Business Honors Engagement opportunities. Please make sure to sign up and add them.

- Alumni mixer events
- BizEd presentations * Participation in Business Honors events can count toward Business Honors activities; however, only designated events are counted as Business Honors events.
ADMISSIONS
- Students are admitted to Honors College and Business Honors upon their entry to Rutgers UniversityโCamden (either as first years or transfers).
- Some students may be invited to join Honors College and Business Honors as rising sophomores if they:
- Have not been offered and declined an Honors College/Business Honors admission offer upon entry
- Have a GPA of 3.75
- Have earned a minimum of 25 but not more than 45 credits
- Do not have more than one W (withdrawal) on their transcript
GRADUATION WITH BUSINESS HONORS
To graudate with Honors College-Business Honors, students must fulfill both Honors College and Business Honors requirements.Please check Honors College Program Requirements.
