Mr. Wilson is the retired President and COO of The Philadelphia Coca‐Cola Bottling Company. A Rutgers College graduate, Mr. Wilson received his BA in History in 1971 and grew up in Paterson, New Jersey. Additionally, he attended Rutgers Camden Law School from 1971‐1972 and Rutgers Graduate School of Education from 1973 to 1974. He is married to Kathleen Wilson and the couple has two adult children, a son Christopher and a daughter Erin.
A key figure in the bottling industry, Mr. Wilson most recently served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Skinny Nutritional Corporation from December 2008 until June 30, 2010. Mr. Wilson served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of the Philadelphia Coca‐Cola Bottling Company and was instrumental in the soft drink industry for over 38 years. He retired as President and Chief Operations Officer of the Philadelphia Coca Cola Bottling Company in November of 2006 after 29 years with the company.
As the current Chair of the Rutgers University Board of Overseers, Mr. Wilson is dedicated to serving the needs of the University. Mr. Wilson, and his wife, Kathleen, have established the Ron and Kathy Wilson Scholarship and are generous donors to other causes within the University such as the Scarlet R Fund as well as the Philadelphia Coca‐ Cola Bottling Scholarship. Mr. Wilson also serves as an Advisor to the Rutgers School of Business in Camden.
Mr. Wilson has been involved in a number of associations during his tenure in the soft drink industry. He has served as the President of the Coca‐Cola Bottler’s Association; he has been a Member of the Medical Advisory Board of Skinny Nutritional Corporation since 2008 and served as Director of Skinny Nutritional Corporation until July of 2010. An active member of the community, some of Mr. Wilson’s past civic memberships included serving as a board member of the Philadelphia Youth Network, Tug McGraw Foundation, United Negro College Fund as well as the Coca‐ Cola Scholars Foundation.
As a result of Mr. Wilson’s business and civic endeavors he has been the recipient of numerous awards. He currently resides in Spring Lake with his wife, Kathleen.
