  1. Complete the Graduate Admissions Application.
  2. Pay the non-refundable application fee.
  3. Submit one official transcript from each post-secondary school attended.
      • If applicants already have an advanced degree from an institution in the U.S., applicants will be required to submit an official copy of the advanced degree as well as the official transcripts of their bachelorโ€™s degree.

      • Unofficial transcripts can be used for admissions review. Upon admittance to the program, you will need to supply official transcripts.ย 
  4. Submit your supporting materials.
      • Letters of recommendation (2): Contact information for references may be submitted through the online Application Portal. Recommenders will submit letters directly to Rutgersโ€“Camden.ย ย

      • Personal statement describing your educational and professional goals.ย 
      • Required prerequisite courses as evidenced in your official college transcripts.ย 
Standardized Test Scores: GMAT/GRE standardized test scores are NOT required for applicants to graduate programs at RSBC.ย ย  However, you are highly encouraged to submit GMAT/GRE scores if:ย ย 
  • Your four-year undergraduate cumulative GPA is less than 2.75,ย ย 
  • And/or you have less than 3 years of full-time work experience.ย

Course Waiver Policy for MBA Programs

Students who apply to the MBA Program (not applicable to PMBA or MS/MBA dual enrollment programs) can apply for a potential course waiver(s). Waivers may be granted for up to 6-credits (two courses).ย ย 

Coursework must be taken at an accredited four-year college or university in the period covering the last ten (10) calendar years from the start of the MBA Program at the Rutgers School of Businessโ€“Camden.ย Course waiver requests must be submitted for evaluation before the start of the MBA Program.

International Students

International students have additional application requirements, which are outlined below.

English Language Proficiency

Students will need to submitย proof of English language proficiency, if their undergraduate education was completed in a non-English speaking country. Rutgersโ€“Camden accepts the following documentation:

  • IELTS: 6.5
  • Duolingo: 115
  • Completion of a pre-approved intensive English language program

Official transcripts are required from each post-secondary school attended Undergraduate transcripts must be equivalent to a four-year U.S. bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited institution, showing 120 credits. All transcripts MUST be translated to ENGLISH, as well as show:

BLDP Application

The Spring 2023 Application is now open!ย 

Priority will be given to applications received by November 18. Applications are accepted until all seats are filled. Space is limited, so apply early!

The seminar application process is our gateway for entry into the program. Upon acceptance into BLDP, students will be emailed their acceptance letter plus a special permission number allowing registration for the BLDP seminar.

Requirements

Seminar applications are solicited each semester and require the following:

  1. Completed application form (at the bottom of this page),
  2. For students with GPA 3.0 – 3.49, two (2) letters of recommendation (one academic; one other)

Rutgers-Camden students are invited to apply to apply for enrollment in the BLDP seminar. All applicants are expected to meet both of the following selection criteria:ย  (1) have sophomore standing or above and (2) have an overall GPA of 3.0 or above. First-semester transfer students will be evaluated based on their GPA earned at Rutgers. Students who fail to meet these admission criteria may still be allowed to apply for (and possibly enroll in) the BLDP seminar, but they will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

The director balances evaluations to make final decisions on people accepted for the seminar (up to a maximum of 15-20 each semester).

Students who are admitted to the BDLP are required to adopt the BLDP Code of Conduct. A signed contract is required from each student.

Students may count activities toward โ€œleadership unitsโ€ that were initiated prior to taking a seminar, as long as those activities occured primarily during their enrollment in their academic program.
