Q. Is the Rutgers-Camden Undergraduate Business program accredited?

Yes, our program is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which is the premier accrediting organization for business programs. Visit AACSB International for information.

Q. Is the Rutgers-Camden Undergraduate Business program a part-time program or a full-time program?

Both. Courses are offered in the regular semesters (Fall and Spring). We also offer many required courses and electives in our Summer Session. Only electives are offered in Winterim.

Q. Is the Rutgers-Camden Undergraduate program a daytime or an evening program?

The School of Business offers undergraduate courses during the daytime, evening, and Saturday mornings. We try to alternate daytime with evening schedules for all courses so that all students have an equal opportunity to enroll in classes without difficulty. Tentative schedules will be posted in advance for student input and suggestions.

Q. How many credits do I need to complete the Undergraduate Business program?

A minimum of 120 credits is needed to graduate from Rutgers-Camden, and each of our degree programs require a total of 120 credits. See our curriculum worksheets for course requirements and Academic Services for advising FAQs.

Q. How many credits can I transfer from other colleges?

Students who are considering transferring from another school should work carefully with their advisor to plan their selection of courses. Please consult the New Jersey Transfer site for specific course acceptance information.

Q. Is it possible to receive course credit for work experience?

Rutgers does not grant course credit for work experience.

Q. Does the Rutgers-Camden undergraduate program offer any opportunities for study abroad?

Yes. Students can participate in our International Studies Programs, which take place during one week of the winter and spring breaks, and over the summer.  Our most recent locations include South Africa, Brazil, Cuba, and many more! You may also want to study for an entire semester or year.  Students interested in this can receive assistance from the Rutgers Study Abroad Program.

Q. What types of financial aid and scholarships are available?

Various forms of financial aid, scholarships, and grants available through the Rutgers-Camden Financial Aid Office. Specifically, Bridging the Gap is an innovative program that reduces costs by closing the gap between federal, state, and institutional sources of financial support and the balance of tuition and the general campus fee and covering up to 100 percent of remaining tuition for eligible first-year and Camden County College transfer students. Various merit-based, named and endowed scholarships are also available to incoming and current students. In spring, current students will receive an email from the Dean of Students with more information and a link to the campus-wide scholarship application.

Q. Are there student activities for me to join?

Students at the Camden Campus are very active in numerous student organizations. Visit the campus’ Clubs and Organizations website for more information. There are also several fraternities and sororities. Information about campus’ Fraternity and Sorority Affairs site. 

In addition, the RSBC student organizations help you to learn about our majors, career opportunities, and professional networking. We also have several honors associations whose membership is by academic achievement or by application.
