Dr. Jose Beltran

Dr. Jose R. Beltran is a researcher and scholar, driven by his passion for advancing knowledge in the field of management. He earned his Ph.D. from Iowa State University, specializing in meta-analytical methods, big data applications in management, and the operationalization of psychological constructs, such as personality and performance. Throughout his academic journey, Jose actively contributed to the scholarly community through multiple peer-reviewed publications in journals, such as the Journal of Organizational Behavior and HRM Journal. He showcases his commitment to sharing knowledge by presenting his research at prestigious conferences, including AOM and SMS, as well as conducting methodological workshops at AOM and The PhD Project. Jose’s research revolves around strategic leadership, honesty-humility in upper echelons, and the impact of generative AI. Beyond his academic pursuits, he engages in valuable service activities, including contributions to The PhD Project.

Dr. Lei (Matthew) Ma

Dr. Matthew Ma is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Rutgers University–Camden. His research examines how market structures shape the dissemination and incorporation of accounting information into stock prices, how managerial incentives affect financial reporting and voluntary disclosure decisions, and how different stakeholders demand and use corporate disclosures. Dr. Ma’s research has been published in top accounting journals, including The Accounting Review and the Review of Accounting Studies. Prior to starting his academic career, Dr. Ma was an Audit Associate for KPMG in China. He earned his Master of Accounting from Bentley University and Bachelor’s in Accounting from Sun Yat-Sen University, China.

Dr. Emmanuel Peters

Dr. Emmanuel Peters is an Assistant Professor of Teaching at Rutgers School of Business–Camden. He earned his doctorate in management sciences from the University of Iowa. He joins Rutgers from the University of Iowa, where he taught business analytics and supply chain management. His research interests include supply chain design and medical device supply chains. Dr. Peters has over twenty years of industry experience in supply chain management at multiple organizations, including Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer, Inc.

Dr. Joseph Regina

Dr. Joseph Regina is a recent doctoral graduate of the University of South Florida’s Industrial-Organizational Psychology program. Within his Assistant Professor of Human Resources/Organizational Behavior role in the Rutgers School of Business–Camden, he conducts research on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Specifically, his primary line of research examines the role of gender in the experience of working, such as how gender pertains to the experience of working within environments that are higher or lower on masculinity contest culture. Joseph also has a broader interest in Occupational Health Psychology with the intent to improve the wellbeing and health of workers via the examination of variables such as work-family conflict and burnout within his body of research. At Rutgers University–Camden, Dr. Regina will be teaching courses related to his research in areas such as talent management; work and wellbeing; and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
