Biz-Ed Program
Biz-Ed is a dynamic three-week program developed by Rutgers School of Business–Camden (RSBC) to introduce high school students to core business concepts and essential professional development skills. Through interactive sessions led by RSBC lecturers and student panels, the program fosters critical thinking, communication, and career readiness.
Key components include:
- Guest Lectures: High school students engage with business-focused presentations delivered by university-affiliated professionals and business students. Topics may include entrepreneurship, marketing, financial literacy, innovation, leadership, and real-world problem-solving. These sessions aim to spark curiosity and build foundational knowledge in business.
- Student Panels: Current business students share their insights on developing professional skills, managing real-world projects, and exploring different career pathways in business. These conversations encourage reflection on individual strengths, interests, and future aspirations.
- Professional Development Workshops: Practical, hands-on activities designed to help students build skills like teamwork, public speaking, time management, resume writing, and goal setting. These sessions equip students with tools to succeed in any professional or academic environment.
By connecting students with relatable role models and real-world learning, Biz-Ed helps inspire students to explore and pursue their interest in business.
