The Online MAcc is comprised of ten courses that will prepare students for the CPA exam. In the program, up to half of the credits are in free electives, so students can personalize their degree and acquire knowledge of relevant technology and software, such as:

This Seminar may be waived if the student successfully completed undergraduate courses corresponding to RSBCโs โFundamentals of Financial Accountingโ and โIntermediate Accounting Iโ at an AACSB accredited institution.ย Completion Deadline: Students must successfully complete this Seminar before the end of their first semester of enrollment.ย
- Auditingย will help prepare you for Advanced Auditing. This Seminar may be waived if the student successfully completed undergraduate courses corresponding to RSBCโs โFundamentals of Financial Accounting,โ โIntermediate Accounting I,โ and โAuditing, Theory & Practiceโ at an AACSB accredited institution.ย Completion Deadline: Students must successfully complete this Seminar within their first year after enrollment or before they enroll for โAdvanced Auditingโ in the MAcc, whichever comes sooner.ย
- ย Taxย will provide you with the accounting background needed for Advanced Taxation. This Seminar may be waived if the student successfully completed undergraduate courses corresponding to RSBCโs โFundamentals of Financial Accounting,โ โIntermediate Accounting I,โ and either โBusiness Entity Taxationโ or โIndividual Taxationโ at an AACSB accredited institution.ย Completion Deadline: Students must successfully complete this Seminar within their first year after enrollment or before they enroll for โAdvanced Taxationโ in the MAcc, whichever comes sooner.
One-Credit Elective Course Options
RSBC is now offering six one-credit online courses in collaboration with Professional and Executive Education at Rutgers (PEER) Team. These courses are aimed at enhancing your skillsets for immediate workplace applications. All one-credit courses will be offered in asynchronous online mode and will run for sevenย weeks. You may mix courses from fall and spring to create a three-credit elective course for your program. These courses are open to MBA (except PMBA), MSBA, and MAcc students.ย
