Christina Broderick is a clinically trained Licensed Social Worker, a Psychotherapist, a Certified School Social Worker, and an Adjunct Professor, who is passionate about ensuring mental health becomes a priority for all. She has worked across the entire lifespan, from elementary-aged students to the older adult population, all covering a wide array of needs and challenges. Having a professional background in program coordination and management, as well as clinical support and services, Christina has been able to blend her experience with her expertise to work internationally. Her passion stems from first-hand frustrations she experienced with the gap that exists in foundational mental health concepts and skills for all, particularly within the education system. As the Founder of IgnitEDU, her vision is for every student to learn, build and strengthen their mental health foundation along their educational journey, with the goal to provide a proactive, sustainable approach to student mental health. Christina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Spanish from La Salle University in Philadelphia and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston University. When not working with clients or teaching students, she serves as a volunteer mentor coach for a national nonprofit that supports the economic mobility of first-generation college students, as well as an Associate Board Member, leading their Engagement Committee.
