The Rutgers Off-Campus BBAย lets you earn your Undergraduate degree via classes at one of six local New Jersey Community College. All classes are taught by Rutgers School of Business Faculty members, so you can rely on the same high-quality curriculum and instruction that you would receive at our Camden campus.

- Scholarship Opportunities: The Program offers a range of scholarships to qualified applicants ranging from $500 to $2,000 annually. Please note: scholarships are awarded for a maximum of two years. Recipients must be enrolled for at least nine credit hours per semester, and maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA at Rutgers.

Students will complete 60 Rutgers University credits within five categories beyond their associate degree, and a minimum of 120 credits total to satisfy graduation requirements.ย

How the Rutgers Off-Campus BBA Works
During your 2nd year working toward your Associateโs Degree at a two-year Community College, you can enroll to transfer your Associateโs Degree Credit to the Rutgers Off-Campus BBA. The program typically takes two years, or perhaps longer, depending on your schedule.

The Rutgers School of BusinessโCamden Off-Campusย BBAย allows you to pick an optional concentration to complement your majorโan area of business specialization that matches your career goals and interests. A concentration consists of twelve (12) credits within a student’s program of study.
Money fuels the bottom line of every corporation. The courses in this track show you how to evaluate business decisions based on what makes best financial sense, including risk-taking, profit distribution, hiring, and more. Students will learn how to make sound business decisions, such as: which business activities make financial sense for the firmโs owners? Which business and financial risks are worth taking, and what should be avoided? The basic principles of financial decision-making are the same for large, publicly traded firms and small, privately run businesses. This track benefits both entrepreneurs and those seeking an entry-level position in a corporation with the goal of one day attaining the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

This track introduces data retrieval and programming languages, such as SQL, R and Python, as well as new programming environments, such as Hadoop ecosystem, data mining techniques, sentiment analysis, and predictive analytics. The track will introduce some of the latest software used for performing data analytics and text mining. The data analytics skill set will be valuable in a wide range of businesses and organizations in government, education, and other sectors.
